A lot can happen in four months. But that doesn't mean it necessarily will. While time speeds up in the blogosphere it keeps to a slow and steady pace in the world of home renovations. But that day not destined to arrive seems to be upon us. The sink is in and the plumbers are here right now working -for the second day- on installing the square toilet. Finally there's something to see! For months its been wallboard, plaster, primer, and a little excitement in the way of moldings. Then I got the flu for two weeks and didn't finish designing the kitchen. Then my contractor got the flu. Then he went skiing -in Switzerland. As the one month reno is coming up on the one year mark my girlfriend and I are about to stop paying rent on our tenement apartment and move in ready or not.
